About Hope Community EC Church

Hope Community Church is a congregation of the Evangelical Congregational denomination , with roots in the post-Revolutionary War period of American history. Congregations in our church family express themselves in mission activity around the world. Hope Community Church was a church planting project started in Spring 1994. Over the years, our church gathered in various locations. Our church building was completed in 2005, and services began in June 2005. On September 11, 2005 we dedicated our new church building. We gather for worship through musical praise, shared prayer and concentration upon the teaching of God's Word, the Bible, and Jesus Christ. We're committed to using contemporary worship without compromising the everlasting truth of Jesus Christ. Our regular meeting times on Sunday are:

  • Christian Education 9:00 to 9:45 AM
  • Snack & Chat - 9:45 - 10:15 AM
  • Sunday Worship - 10:15 AM
  • Wednesday Morning Bible Study (Wed 9AM - 11AM)
  • Concentrated Prayer (Tues 11AM - 12PM)

Our Christian Education includes Adult Bible Studies, Children's Sunday School and Youth Group. There are various other Bible Study and small group activities throughout the week, including the Wednesday afternoon concentrated prayer time. Our Youth group has several fellowship events, including summer mission work camp trips. We also offer Vacation Bible School, which is held daily for one week in June.

  • Drive-thru Nativity (December)
  • "Friday Night in the Light" Praise Music (Bi-Monthly, First Friday)

  • Ladies Night Out Dinners (Monthly)
  • Scrapbooking (Monthly, First Tuesday)
